Tarpon

The Stamas center console models are called the” Tarpons” in reference to the city of Tarpon Springs Florida, where they have been built since 1952. Ranging from 26’7” to 39’ there is simply no other boat on the market built with more care and consideration to the fishability and also the comfort of the angler and his crew. These boat builders and craftsmen will celebrate their 65th Anniversary during the 2017 model year and proudly brag that they have never had a hull failure.

Amenities abound for the fishermen in all Tarpons. Dual large capacity livewells and properly sized fish boxes that are fully insulated and overboard drained, along with tackle centers, raw and freshwater washdowns, and rod storage that are all angling correct. Fuel capacities that are well above industry standards are standard on all Tarpons and are built of marine grade welded aluminum, not cheap rotocast plastic like some builders use. This gives you the range to go out after the big ones.

Comforts are important when you are on the water for long days and it all starts with the ride produced by the ”Variable Degree Deep V” and bow flair of the Stamas Hull. We have always been famous for our soft dry ride and with today’s powerful 4 stroke Yamaha outboards we are faster and more fuel efficient than ever. Premium upholstery and padding along with ergonomically correct helm chairs make for a ride like you’ve never experienced. Standard Hard-Tops keep you out of the sun and Jabsco electric heads are there for when nature calls.

Real fishermen love Stamas Built boats for more reasons than just their rugged good looks. While the traditional yet contemporary styling never goes out of favor there’s more to the decision to buy Stamas than is visible to the admiring eye.
